FIX-Blue® 150

As the skins have become longer, there are certain customers who have experienced difficulties with holding borderline skins. This is why Dansk Mink Papir A/S has developed this sleeve, which has 50% more grip compared to standard sleeves. However, it must be noted that the pinning machine requires a small modification if you want to achieve full capacity on your FIX-2 machine. Please be aware that if you are operating with short sleeves, a few hairs may be pulled off from the side of the fragile skins. (Animals that have died from natural causes, old female skins.)

The FIX-Sleeves are manufactured from special plastic, a type of plastic with special elastic properties that is well suited for contact with animal fats.

The optimal application temperature is 18–25˚C, which means that the cabinets must be placed in a heated room for at least two days before use.
